Lovely man, will miss him; but at this sad time will share some humour David. Surprised the donation wasnt for gin-given it is/was the drink of those wielding the tendon hammer.

Although many miles away from me since 1971, David was my teacher, my "boss", mentor and true friend who held my respect for over 60 years. A man whose humility, kindness and friendship I will miss even though for so many years communication was via Xmas cards. But he was always available "on tap" whenever his wisdom was called upon. I will miss him. And what an innings, defeated only by anno domini and the loss of his best friend and wife Jill.
